Robin Lowery-Early Childhood Teacher

Education and Experience:

I started working with young children in 2000 at the Hamilton County Daycare.  I worked there while attending Rend Lake College and SIU-C.  After I graduated SIU-C in 2006 with my Early Childhood degree, I was hired by Hamilton County Unit 10 to teach an Early Childhood class for the reaminder of the school year.  When that position ended, I took a position as a pre-k teacher at the Wayne City Early Learning Center where I taught for 3 years.  In 2010, I was hired by NCOE to teach the Early Childhood class here at Booth School.  I love working with young children.  The joy I feel when my students make progress is very rewarding.  I have the best job in the world!

Biography:

I live in McLeansboro with my daughter, Lauren, and her cat, Elvis.  I enjoy reading books and listening to music in my spare time.  Lauren and I also enjoy having family nights where we watch movies and play games.
